Everest Insurance is continuing its strategic buildout of the Aviation platform and this is a rare opportunity to join the Aviation team at a pivotal stage of growth. We are looking for a Senior General Aviation Underwriter to play a leading role in expanding a highpotential portfolio within a business that combines entrepreneurial agility with global strength.
This is more than a pure underwriting role it is a chance to influence strategy shape underwriting appetite and build a marketleading presence in the London Market.

The Opportunity
As the Senior Underwriter you will take ownership of the profitable growth and development of the General Aviation portfolio contributing directly to Everests wider aviation strategy. You will operate with significant autonomy while influencing the direction of the class and helping position Everest as a goto market for brokers and clients in the GA space.
Key Responsibilities
Build grow and actively manage a profitable sustainable portfolio
Define and implement underwriting appetite strategy and guidelines
Analyse portfolio performance and refine approach to optimise returns
Collaborate across underwriting classes to deliver bestinclass solutions
Support the development of reinsurance strategy
Represent Everest in the London and international markets building strong broker relationships
Ensure adherence to governance standards across aggregation and reporting
Play a key role in building and developing a highperforming GA team
Work closely with Claims Reserving Distribution and Ceded Re to deliver a fully aligned underwriting approach
What Were Looking For
Strong General Aviation underwriting experience within the London Market (Lloyds or Company Market)
Proven ability to build or materially contribute to a profitable underwriting portfolio
Commercially astute with a strong grasp of pricing risk selection and portfolio management
Credibility with brokers clients and internal stakeholders
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans
A collaborative approach and ability to leverage global resources across a platform
High levels of drive ownership and accountability
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
