About the role
Days/Tramping Package
Basic: Weekly 680.59/14.48 per hour
Overtime (Mon Sat): 15.00 per hour
Overtime (Sun): 16.52 per hour
All hours paid for including breaks. All CPC Training provided by DFDS Killingholme during working hours.
Youll be responsible for transporting a mix of freight using flatbed and curtainsider trailers ensuring loads are delivered safely securely and on time. This is a handson role with a strong focus on load securing safety and professionalism.
You will be responsible for:
Driving Class 1 vehicles on scheduled routes
Operating both flatbed and curtainsider trailers
Securing loads using straps chains and other equipment to ensure safe transport
Loading and unloading where required ensuring even weight distribution
Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Following all driver hours tachograph and road safety regulations
About you
Youll hold a valid Class 1 licence along with a CPC and digital tachograph card. Experience working with flatbed trailers and load restraint techniques is highly desirable.
Youll be safetyfocused reliable and confident securing a variety of loads. Good time management attention to detail and a professional attitude are essential. Youll thrive in this role if you enjoy a handson driving job and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.
