Sous Chef Full-Time

As a Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen ensuring the highest standards of food quality presentation and service. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to menu development and culinary excellence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the kitchen and collaborating closely with the head chef to ensure seamless service.
Preparing cooking and presenting dishes to consistently high standards.
Maintaining consistently high standards of food preparation presentation portion control and waste management.
Assisting the Head Chef with recipe development menu innovation and the creation of new dishes.
Upholding the organisation discipline and professionalism expected within a high-end kitchen environment.
Ensuring the kitchen and all related equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene and health and safety.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock rotation and waste reduction.
Contributing to delivering an exceptional guest experience through culinary excellence and professional service.
Undertaking any additional duties reasonably requested by the Management Team to support the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
A mature and professional attitude with a strong work ethic.
Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Good knowledge of food hygiene health and safety and kitchen best practices.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
A friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to work well within a team.
A willingness to learn develop and contribute to the success of the business.
What We Offer:
Full-time position: up to 48 hours per week.
Two days off per week.
20 to 30 minutes daily break.
