Maintenance Development Engineer

Vanderlande has a strong strategic partnership with Heathrow Airport. Heathrow with more than 80 million passengers a year is the most active airport in Europe with the highest number of connections to other airports. All these passengers expect their luggage to reach the same destination. Thats where Vanderlande comes in as a strategic partner with full responsibility for the performance and maintenance of Heathrows baggage handling systems.
Your role
Working within London Heathrow Airport the Maintenance Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance plans and asset performance across the operation.
You will translate maintenance concepts into practical executable plans and standard procedures analyse system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You will be performing the following tasks:
