About the Role You will teach French across KS3 KS4 and KS5 with small class sizes enabling close attention to individual progress. The department encourages target-language teaching cultural exploration and opportunities for exchanges or trips.
Key Responsibilities
Teach French across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations
Develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills
Use the target language confidently to build fluency
Provide detailed feedback and track progress closely
Contribute to language enrichment events trips or exchanges

Candidate Requirements
Essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Fluency in French and confidence teaching in the target language
Experience teaching French at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level French
Ability to teach a second language (e.g. Spanish or German)
Experience working in an independent school setting
Experience organising language trips or exchanges
