Role description:
This role will be focused on supporting the Energy Network and Transmission BIM team with delivering BIM and digital deliverables at a project and sector basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to help drive excellence for our client. The individual should have a keen interest in Digital applications within the construction industry and have some understanding of AutoCAD/Revit/Civil 3D/ACC. The Individual needs to be proactive in looking for new digital solutions and have an appreciate on how to upskills other members of staff to utilise new technology.
The role will consist of 3 main parts Supporting Project delivery (Majority) Team Development Digital Applications
There will be the opportunity to learn new skills like Python Dynamo Power Automate as the role develop and we look at initiatives to grow capability assure quality and speed up delivery.
Role accountabilities:
You will be responsible for preparing 3D/2D Models in Revit/AutoCAD for Main Plant Civil Protection and Control Circuits Mechanical Substations Transmission routes. Preparation of 2D Sheets from the Revit/AutoCAD model as per company/client standards and liaison with lead business and other team members for preparation of design drawings. You will manage the implementation and maintenance of a Common Data Environment and support in the development of the BIM Team Including Writing Procedures R&D Team Development Mentoring etc
For this role you will need to have good communication skills both verbal and written as well as being a strong self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure both independently and within a team.
Other responsibilities include Co-ordinating the exchange of information between design disciplines compliance of Arcadis business management system and compliance to Health and Safety standards.
