Amazons Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager to drive strategic initiatives across procurement operations. This position leads complex cross-functional projects that optimize processes enhance operational efficiency and build organizational capabilities at scale.
The Senior Supply Chain Manager architects scalable solutions and drives operational excellence across organizational projects special projects and transformation initiatives within procurement operations. This role requires deep expertise in supply chain management strong analytical capabilities and proven ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels connecting tactical execution to strategic outcomes that advance GPOs mission.
Key job responsibilities
Lead complex initiatives independently with minimal guidance working both tactically and strategically across GPO operations at country regional and cross-regional levels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations Transportation Procurement Finance Risk Business Strategy Technology and Engineering to deliver business transformations from initiation through successful implementation
Create mechanisms and metrics to track performance measure benefit realization and drive continuous improvement across the organization
Analyze complex data using advanced Excel SQL and database tools to identify trends risks and opportunities for strategic improvement
Influence organizational goals by working across multiple stakeholder teams functions and leaders extending influence across teams
Lead process improvements by proposing network-wide solutions that improve and drive operational excellence best practices
Provide strategic direction and serve as escalation point for complex challenges finding paths forward in difficult situations

- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
