A welcoming and well-established Primary School in Ealing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join its premises team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and wants to play a key role in ensuring pupils staff and visitors benefit from a safe secure and well-maintained learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day security maintenance and presentation of the school site. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and external contractors to ensure that facilities remain fully operational and meet all health and safety requirements.
Daily responsibilities will include opening and closing the school site carrying out routine inspections undertaking minor repairs monitoring site security and ensuring school buildings and grounds remain safe clean and welcoming at all times.
The role will also involve supporting site improvement projects assisting with deliveries setting up rooms for events and liaising with contractors undertaking maintenance work across the school.
The school is looking for a practical and proactive individual with good maintenance skills and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. The ability to work independently prioritise workloads and respond effectively to site issues is essential.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will become an important member of a dedicated school community and will play a vital role in supporting the education and wellbeing of pupils.
