Agents Assistant Actors/Comedy Department
United Agents Ltd (UA) is one of Londons leading talent agencies working across film TV books theatre and comedy. We are looking for a full-time Agents Assistant to join an Agents office within the Actors/Comedy Department.
In this role you will be an integral member of the team supporting an experienced Agent who represents award-winning writer-performers comedians actors and directors.
This is an exciting opportunity in a busy fast-paced office. It requires excellent organisational skills outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multitask and adapt quickly. The ideal candidate will have a calm proactive approach a good sense of humour a genuine passion for comedy TV and film and a desire for a career in talent management.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing full administrative support to the Agent in the day-to-day running of the office including managing a high volume of emails and calls from clients and industry professionals (e.g. casting directors producers and US teams).
- Processing contracts invoicing tracking and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.
- Maintaining and updating client materials including showreels and CVs.
- Script reading report writing and tracking projects.
- Providing excellent client care.
- Submitting clients on Spotlight pitching them for opportunities and responding to client queries.
- Managing complex diaries for both Agent and clients including scheduling meetings auditions and self-tapes.
- Attending industry events outside standard working hours including showcases live shows screenings premieres TV recordings and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as required.
- Building industry knowledge maintaining awareness of emerging talent and staying up to date with projects casting and trends.
- Provision of occasional holiday cover within the department.
Core Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a talent agency casting office broadcaster or production company.
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
- A team player the ability to build strong working relationships with Agent colleagues and industry contacts.
- A proactive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure meet deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Outlook Word Excel and Tagmin.
- A friendly professional manner and a good sense of humour.
- A genuine passion for comedy film and television.
