The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior People Partner to join our UK People team.

Partnering with senior leaders and operating within a global matrix you will provide trusted advice and pragmatic people solutions that support business performance organisational effectiveness and employee experience.

Initially partnering with leaders across our UK Revenue organisation you will work closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver people priorities lead organisational change and help leaders navigate complex people challenges. While your initial client group will be UK Revenue we are looking for a versatile People Partner who can adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.

Reporting to the VP People UK this role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes contribute to people strategy and play a key role in shaping a high-performing organisation.

You will lead your client group with confidence and ownership working closely with local and global People colleagues to navigate complexity build alignment and deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders providing coaching challenge and guidance on people-related matters.

  • Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into effective people plans and solutions.

  • Lead and support organisational change initiatives including organisational design restructures and consultations.

  • Act as a senior advisor on employee relations matters coaching managers and People colleagues while managing complex and sensitive cases and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.

  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments balancing local business needs with global frameworks and priorities.

  • Build alignment across stakeholder groups including People business and cross-functional partners ensuring relevant colleagues are engaged and informed at the appropriate stage.

  • Use data insight and commercial understanding to inform decisions and influence outcomes.

  • Identify people-related risks opportunities and dependencies considering both immediate and broader organisational impact.

  • Contribute to the delivery of local and global People strategies and initiatives in collaboration with our Global Centres of Excellence.

  • Contribute to the delivery of local and global People strategies and initiatives working in partnership with Global People colleagues and Centres of Excellence.

  • Provide informal mentorship coaching and support across the UK People team helping to build capability and share best practice.

  • Build and maintain relationships across the Global People Community collaborating effectively across markets and being an active member of our People Network.

  • Work in collaboration with Finance to ensure accurate and timely provision of people data for budgeting purposes.

  • Champion a high-quality People service continuously seeking opportunities to improve employee and stakeholder experience.

Requirements & Skills

  • Significant experience in a People Partner HR Business Partner or similar role.

  • Strong employee relations experience including managing complex and sensitive cases.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in fast-paced complex organisations.

  • Experience leading organisational change including restructures and consultations.

  • Proven ability to build credibility influence stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrix environment.

  • Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how people-decisions impact business performance.

  • Strong judgement and the ability to navigate complex situations balancing business needs employee experience risk and long-term organisational impact.

  • Ability to anticipate organisational impact identify risks and take a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • A collaborative team-oriented approach combined with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

  • Resilient adaptable and comfortable navigating change and complexity.
