Reports to: Growth Strategist
Core Responsibility: Deliver profitable and sustainable growth for a portfolio of DTC e-commerce brands by leading commercial strategy, customer acquisition planning, creative direction, and performance marketing initiatives.
KPIs: ROAS, CAC, MER, Spend Efficiency, Client Retention
Salary: £52,000 – £62,000 DOE

We’re building something different at Launch With Us.

At Launch With Us, we help ambitious e-commerce brands scale from £2M to £7M+ through high-performance paid social and creative-led growth strategies.

We’re not interested in vanity metrics or bloated agency processes. We focus on outcomes that genuinely move the needle: profitable customer acquisition, stronger retention, and scalable growth.

We manage over £10M in annual paid media spend across Meta and TikTok for brands including Lucky Saint, Fem Fuelz, Butter & Crust, Four Five, and Aromatherapy Associates. Our success comes from combining sharp media buying with creative that converts.

We’re part of the #1 UK Meta independent agency groups; we move fast, think commercially, and give talented people genuine ownership over the accounts they run. This is a place for ambitious operators who want autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

The Role

As a Performance and Growth manager, you will serve as the strategic growth partner for a portfolio of DTC e-commerce brands.

You will take ownership of growth planning, commercial strategy, and performance outcomes across your accounts, helping founders and leadership teams make better decisions, identify opportunities, and unlock profitable growth.

Whilst paid social remains a core acquisition channel, your focus extends far beyond campaign management. You will influence creative strategy, customer acquisition, retention initiatives, offer development, conversion optimisation opportunities, and wider commercial planning.

This is the highest-level individual contributor role within the Growth team and is designed for commercially minded operators who combine deep performance marketing expertise with strategic thinking, leadership capability, and a strong understanding of e-commerce growth.

Our Values

  • Extreme Ownership: You win or learn. Never blame.
  • Radical Curiosity: Challenge assumptions. Explore what’s next.
  • Kind Candour: Say what needs to be said, with honesty and purpose.
  • Client-Centricity: Think like an owner. Act in your clients’ best interests, always.

Requirements

Growth Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Act as the strategic growth partner for a portfolio of DTC e-commerce brands, taking responsibility for identifying, prioritising, and executing opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth and improved commercial performance.
  • Develop comprehensive growth plans that extend beyond paid media, considering customer acquisition, retention, conversion rate optimisation, creative effectiveness, offer strategy, customer lifetime value, and overall business objectives.
  • Build a deep understanding of each client's business model, growth constraints, commercial targets, customer behaviour, and unit economics to ensure recommendations are grounded in business reality.
  • Work directly with founders and senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify risks, uncover growth opportunities, and influence decision-making through commercially focused recommendations.
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning sessions that align marketing activity with wider business objectives and create clear growth roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, acquisition efficiency, customer value, and operational effectiveness through strategic planning and performance analysis.
  • Maintain ownership of overall account health, ensuring growth strategies evolve in response to changing market conditions, business priorities, and performance trends.

Performance Leadership & Analysis

  • Oversee paid social strategy across Meta and TikTok, ensuring activity remains aligned with wider commercial objectives and growth plans.
  • Guide Senior Paid Social Managers on account strategy, campaign structures, testing frameworks, and scaling initiatives that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Review account performance regularly, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth, improve acquisition efficiency, and maximise return on investment.
  • Champion best practices across media buying, testing methodologies, measurement frameworks, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure accounts maintain a strong balance between short-term performance and long-term scalability.

Creative Performance Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Creative Strategists to develop creative roadmaps that support client growth objectives and performance targets.
  • Use performance data, consumer insights, and market trends to influence messaging, positioning, offers, creative formats, and content strategies.
  • Identify emerging opportunities across creative, customer acquisition, and conversion optimisation that can unlock additional growth.
  • Ensure creative testing frameworks remain aligned with commercial objectives and provide clear learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions around brand positioning, product launches, promotional activity, and customer acquisition initiatives.

Client Leadership

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with founders, leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate high-level strategic discussions that help clients make informed decisions around growth, investment, customer acquisition, and commercial priorities.
  • Present performance updates, recommendations, and growth opportunities in a commercially relevant manner, translating marketing data into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships through strategic value, innovative thinking, and consistent delivery of results.
  • Lead difficult conversations with confidence when challenges arise, providing clear solutions, realistic expectations, and actionable recovery plans.
  • Drive client retention and account expansion through exceptional strategic leadership and measurable commercial impact.

Team Development & Contribution

  • Act as a leader within the Growth team by setting standards for strategic thinking, client management, communication, and commercial decision-making.
  • Mentor Senior Paid Social Managers and Paid Social Managers, helping develop future growth leaders within the business.
  • Share frameworks, methodologies, insights, and best practices that improve strategic thinking and execution across the wider team.
  • Contribute to onboarding, capability development, training initiatives, and performance management processes.
  • Support the evolution of internal systems, AI adoption, reporting frameworks, testing methodologies, and operational processes that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to agency growth initiatives, innovation projects, and thought leadership activities that strengthen Launch With Us' market position.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of paid social, growth marketing, or e-commerce growth experience within an agency or DTC environment, with a proven track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Highly proficient in Triple Whale, Shopify, GA4, and performance reporting environments, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable opportunities.
  • Experience leading strategic client relationships and communicating confidently with founders, leadership teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members whilst contributing positively to team culture and performance.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Passionate about performance marketing, innovation, AI adoption, and helping ambitious brands achieve meaningful growth.

Benefits

  • Join a fast-growing and ambitious company with a collaborative, people-first culture.
  • Benefit from a hybrid-first working model, with remote working and optional access to our London office for collaboration and team connection.
  • Enjoy 27 days of annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and your birthday off each year.
  • Work abroad for up to 30 days per year (T&Cs apply), giving you added flexibility and balance.
