Job description
EL / PL Litigation Executive - Manchester - Up to £50,000 + Benefits + Bonus This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognised Legal 500 firm based in Manchester, with an excellent reputation for Personal Injury litigation and client care. Due to continued growth and success, the firm is now looking to appoint an EL/PL Litigation Executive or Fee Earner to join its expanding team. Youll manage your own caseload of pre- and post-litigation matters while working within a supportive environment that offers genuine long-term career development. The Role: * Manage your own caseload of EL/PL claims (pre and post litigation) * Progress files from initial instruction through to conclusion * Draft witness statements and key legal documentation * Review expert evidence and medical reports * Instruct medical experts and counsel * Attend conferences, hearings and trials where required * Assess quantum and make settlement offers * Deliver excellent client care throughout the claims process * This is an excellent opportunity to build your litigation expertise within a highly regarded claimant PI team About You: * Experience managing a caseload of EL/PL claims * Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules * Litigation experience preferred but not essential * Able to manage deadlines and prioritise a varied workload * Strong organisation and time management skills * Excellent communication and client care ability * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience * 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays * Additional paid birthday day off * Hybrid and flexible working * Clear progression opportunities * Strong quality caseload and supportive culture More About William James Recruitment William James Recruitment is a specialist legal recruitment consultancy, partnering with leading law firms across the UK and internationally.
