Job description
The Occupational Health Service require a Medical Office ST3+ Essential Criteria Registered with GMC with a Licence to practice Can demonstrate appropriate revalidation and medical appraisal history Should have completed CT1 CT2 so effectively be at ST3 level as a minimum Desirable Criteria Experience in Occupational Health is preferable. FOM Diploma in Occupational Medicine or higher preferable. Key Duties The postholder will report to the Medical Lead for OHS: Assessment of sickness absence and general fitness cases to provide a report to the employer Advice on outcome of health surveillance programmes – depending on level of experience and training Advice on Ill health retirement and NICS injury awards – depending on experience and training Advice to other clinical staff and OHS business support staff as require About Direct Medics This year, we’re proud to celebrate our 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of placing healthcare professionals in locum roles across both the public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland.
