Our extensive offering also includes a large tertiary cancer service, including the newly developed ambulatory care, providing specialized cancer services to young people across the country. University College Hospital, a pioneer in teenage cancer care since 1990, continues to grow in size, activity, and complexity, earning international recognition. The UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre, opened in April 2012, is dedicated to Teenagers and Young Adults (TYA) aged 13-24 years. This state-of-the-art facility offers various amenities, treatment pods, consulting rooms, a gymnasium, recreational areas, and more. Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic pharmacist with a passion for paediatrics and oncology to join our dynamic paediatric pharmacy team. This role involves providing clinical care to children, teenagers, and young adults on the inpatient floors in the UCH main building, along with supporting the TYA ambulatory care pharmacist in the Macmillan Cancer Centre. You will collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to clinical care, education, training, and ensuring clinical governance standards for the Paediatrics Division. This position offers opportunities for personal and professional development, working alongside senior clinicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality medicines management. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should have a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills) and possess a broad base of clinical experience. Specialist experience in oncology/haematology is highly desirable, along with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
