Job description
Every healthcare system in history has been a fundamental trade-off between quality and scale - our mission is to change that. We're building a new category of AI-native healthcare provider, using full-stack care automation to deliver world-class treatment at population scale. Our AI physiotherapy clinic is already democratising access to 24/7 healthcare for NHS patients across the UK, and we're just getting started.

Senior Digital MSK Physiotherapist (Full Time)
Clinical
Full-time, Cambridge (UK)

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, email join@flok.health with your CV & a cover letter, or apply via our contact form.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join Flok's clinical team and help deliver outstanding care to patients across the UK. This role is full time, working from our offices near Cambridge in a growing and ambitious clinical team to deliver fully remote care.

What You'll Do
You will review complex patient cases flagged by our automated system to determine the most appropriate management plan, applying your clinical expertise and knowledge of national and regional care pathways.

You will support patients as they progress through their automated care journey, providing clear, empathetic communication and proactive guidance to ensure understanding and engagement.

You will collaborate with Flok’s other functions to help refine and scale our digital platform, enabling rapid access to physiotherapy for more people nationwide.

You will contribute to project work and initiatives beyond direct patient care, including product development, clinical process improvement, and integration of new tools and technologies.

About You
  • You are an HCPC-registered MSK physiotherapist practising to high-performing NHS Band 6 or established Band 7 standard
  • You are confident autonomously assessing and managing complex cases across the whole spectrum of MSK (especially spinal) conditions
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills that enable you to deliver effective care remotely
  • You practise holistic and evidence-based physiotherapy that emphasises empowerment, goal-orientation, and behaviour change
  • You are committed to continuous professional development
  • You are willing to work in person to help drive innovation and high standards at pace – we do not currently offer remote roles

Bonus Points
We don't expect you to have the following but be sure to mention any that you do!
  • Experience of working in primary care
  • Experience of service improvement and contributing to clinical governance, including meeting CQC standards
  • Pelvic health experience
  • Research experience

What we offer
  • Interesting and challenging work
  • In-person working from a beautiful workspace in the Cambridgeshire countryside
  • An onsite gym
  • A digital health subscription of your choice
  • Early-stage equity with employee-friendly terms (via an EMI scheme)
  • Comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and optical) and life insurance
  • Optional remote working on Wednesdays, with an annual allowance of 10 extra remote days
  • Desk setup allowance for your favourite keyboard / mouse / whatever!
  • Reimbursement of HCPC registration fees
  • A fast-paced work environment geared towards excellence and professional growth (with annual training budget)
  • A chance to have a big impact in a small early-stage team making a difference to the lives of people across the UK

About Flok
More than a billion people a year suffer unnecessarily from conditions like back pain, where the right treatment approach is well-established but undeliverable at scale. We’re changing that.

Our team has deep expertise across clinical, engineering and machine learning, has a track record of healthtech innovation, and is backed by top-tier VCs and multiple unicorn founder angels.

If you like:
  • Solving hard problems at the intersection of software & healthcare/data science
  • The pursuit of excellence—helping each other to do the best work of our careers
  • Working in an in-person collaborative environment
  • Taking ownership to have significant impact early-on in a growing company with big ambitions

Then you'll fit right in!
