Are you a hands-on Reliability Engineer with a passion for improving plant performance and eliminating repeat failures? Do you thrive on solving complex mechanical challenges and turning data into actionable improvements? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Nufarm. Evolving Ag.

Nufarm is a global crop protection and seeds technologies company that helps farmers and businesses meet the global challenges of food, feed, fibre, and food production.

Your Future, Fuelled by Innovation

As a Reliability Engineer at our Wyke site, you will play a critical role in improving asset reliability and plant performance. Working across engineering, maintenance, and operations, you’ll identify failures before they occur, lead root cause analysis, and deliver practical, high-impact reliability improvements across site.

This is a highly hands-on role combining field-based condition monitoring with data analysis, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on an ageing plant environment.

How You’ll Help Us Grow

  • Develop and deliver reliability improvement initiatives and small CAPEX projects.
  • Own and enhance the site condition monitoring programme (vibration, oil analysis, thermography & ultrasound)
  • Analyse condition monitoring data and convert insights into actionable maintenance plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement through troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and defect elimination strategies.
  • Work closely with maintenance, planners, and operations teams to ensure corrective actions are executed effectively.
  • Optimise maintenance strategies / plans aligned to equipment condition.
  • Identify risks, including abnormal operating conditions and compliance considerations such as ATEX.

Could This Be You?

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on engineer with a strong reliability mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience applying RCM or FMECA-based maintenance strategies in an industrial environment.
  • Vibration Analysis CAT I / CAT II certification, or demonstrable experience analysing vibration spectra
  • Strong hands-on experience with plant equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes
  • Experience using CMMS and reliability systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Machine Sentry)
  • Ability to interpret condition monitoring data and translate it into effective maintenance actions.
  • A structured approach to root cause analysis and defect elimination
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • An engineering apprenticeship or degree in a relevant discipline
  • Broader experience across condition monitoring techniques (e.g. thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound , motion amplification)
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, accountability and collaborative working aligned to Nufarm’s RARE values.

What’s in it for you?

  • Growth and development opportunities across site with our Career pathway program
  • A boosted pension scheme – we’ll match 1.25% to every 1% you pay (up to 8%)
  • Free canteen
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Global Share Plan scheme
  • Shopping discounts
  • Long service awards
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • A friendly and supportive team where you’re encouraged to be yourself and come as you are!

Apply today and be part of our journey to shape the future of agriculture!
