PZ Cussons is hiring a Packaging Development Technologist to join its R&D team in Manchester. The role is based at the company’s R&D centre and factory site at Agecroft in north Manchester.
This job is suitable for candidates who have an interest in packaging development, product packaging innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing support. The company is looking for someone who can help create packaging solutions for different household brands while supporting new product development activities.
During the training period, the successful candidate will work across different brands. Later, the person may focus on one or more specific brands after gaining enough experience.
The role also involves working on packaging innovation, understanding packaging regulations, improving sustainability practices, and helping the business reduce environmental impact through better packaging solutions.
The successful applicant will work closely with marketing teams, product development teams, suppliers, quality teams, and regulatory departments to support packaging projects from concept stage to final production.
