This is a meaningful opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about helping young people from many different backgrounds explore the big questions of human experience through the lens of philosophy, religion, and ethics. You will teach Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Edexcel GCSE RS), with a curriculum that celebrates the diversity of beliefs represented within the school's community. The role includes contributing to the school's programme of interfaith days and assemblies, collaborating with the pastoral team on SMSC-related enrichment, and maintaining accurate assessment records on your working days. There is also the opportunity to develop a lunchtime Philosophy for Children (P4C) club, building on the department's existing interest in this approach.
