Role Overview:

Are you passionate about leading high performing kitchen teams and delivering exceptional food quality?

We are looking for a driven, organised, and quality focused Kitchen Manager to join our MyLahore family.

As a Kitchen Manager, you will lead the kitchen operation, ensuring the delivery of high quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and managing a strong and motivated team. You will play a key role in achieving operational excellence while delivering an Impeccable experience in line with MyLahore brand standards and service culture.

Role Summary

As a Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, from food preparation to service delivery. You will ensure consistency in quality, manage kitchen teams effectively, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Your leadership, attention to detail, and passion for excellence will help create an outstanding dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations and Food Quality

· Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest MyLahore standards

· Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation

· Oversee food preparation to ensure efficiency and timely service

· Monitor portion control and minimise food wastage

· Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly

Team Leadership and Development

· Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high performance

· Create a positive and collaborative working environment

· Manage staff rotas, attendance, and performance standards

· Support the development and progression of team members

· Conduct team briefings and provide regular feedback

Operational Excellence

· Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control

· Ensure kitchen operations run efficiently during busy service periods

· Work closely with front of house teams to ensure seamless service

· Monitor and control kitchen costs in line with business targets

Standards and Compliance

· Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations

· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times

· Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards

· Ensure accurate record keeping for audits and compliance checks

Teamwork and Collaboration

· Communicate effectively with shift managers and wider restaurant teams

· Work collaboratively to deliver a high quality guest experience

· Support other departments when required with a proactive approach

Personal Standards and Development

· Maintain a professional, calm, and confident approach at all times

· Demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, and accountability

· Adapt to changing service demands and business needs

· Continuously develop culinary and leadership skills

Key Skills and Qualifications

· Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or senior chef role

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Passion for quality food and guest satisfaction

· Good communication and problem solving skills

· Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
