\nHourly Rate: £16-£20 per hour (depending on your culinary skills!)
\nThe Role:\nLove working with fresh ingredients, fast-paced kitchens, and serving up great food? Whether you're an experienced chef picking up extra shifts, a food enthusiast seeking consistent hours, or simply looking to stay active between roles - this could be just the opportunity for you!
\nWe're on the lookout for chefs who can commute to Castle Donington for shifts running 8am to 2pm - ideal for those who enjoy early starts and finishing mid-afternoon.
\n\nWhat you'll be cooking up:
\n* Preparing fresh ingredients with care and creativity
\n* Using your kitchen experience to deliver smooth service
\n* Organising and storing deliveries correctly
\n* Keeping pots, pans, and equipment clean and ready
\n* Working closely with the team to keep service flowing
\n* Producing high-quality dishes every time
\n* Ensuring ingredients are stored safely and correctly
\n* Staying calm and efficient during busy periods
\n* Working confidently with your own chef whites and knives
\n* Following health & safety standards to keep the kitchen spotless
\n\nWhat you'll bring to the table:
\n* Food Hygiene Level 2 (completed within the last 3 years)
\n* Confidence working in a busy kitchen environment
\n* A proactive mindset - happy to help wherever needed
\n* Strong organisation and time-management skills
\n* Ability to work well within a team and independently
\n* Clear communication skills - speak up and support the team
\n* Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work
\n* Previous experience in a similar catering or kitchen role
