Position: English Teacher Location: Luton Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 English Teaching Role in a Grammar School A high-achieving grammar school in Luton is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join its successful department from September. This is a full-time role within an academically ambitious and supportive school that values literacy, critical thinking, and exceptional teaching. About the Role You will teach English across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that inspire confidence, creativity, and academic progress. Students will study a broad range of texts including Shakespeare, poetry, prose, drama, and modern literature while developing analytical thinking, interpretation, creative writing, and communication skills. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations, supporting students in achieving excellent academic outcomes and progression to higher education. You will work collaboratively within a successful English department committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
