Job description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Dentist to take on a dual clinical and leadership role within Bankhouse Dental Care, Airdrie, combining 2–3 days of clinical practice with dedicated time to lead, influence, and help shape the future direction of the team. This unique opportunity lets you deliver hands‑on patient care while playing a central role in how high‑quality care is delivered, how teams perform, and how the practice evolves. Role Structure * Work 2–3 days per week clinically within the practice as an Associate Dentist * Dedicate approximately 4 hours per week to leadership responsibilities within the Practice Clinical Lead function * Combine hands‑on dentistry with protected time to support team development, clinical standards, and practice performance * Flexibility to shape your contribution depending on the pathway you choose and practice requirements Opportunity – Role Bankhouse Dental Care offers two distinct pathways for stepping into this role: * Shared Ownership Model Take a meaningful stake in the practice and play a central role in its future. o Become a partner through a simple, transparent shared ownership model o Share directly in the profitability and long‑term success of the practice o Combine clinical leadership with commercial influence and decision‑making o Shape the direction of the practice, from patient care to performance o Work as part of a wider group with the support, scale, and infrastructure of PortmanDentex * Practice Clinical Lead (PCL) Step into a recognised clinical leadership role focused on care, standards, and team development. o Work closely with the Practice Manager to drive performance and patient outcomes o Shape clinical standards, protocols, and the patient journey o Support, mentor, and develop the clinical team o Champion governance, best practice, and continuous improvement o Contribute to decision‑making and strategic direction About You * GDC‑registered dentist with strong clinical experience * Natural leader who communicates with clarity and builds trust * Committed to high‑quality, patient‑centred care * Motivated to develop others and improve practice performance * Interested in shaping the future direction of the practice What We Offer * A supportive, collaborative environment where leadership is encouraged * Flexibility to choose the pathway that fits how you want to contribute * Ongoing professional development and leadership support * The opportunity to influence how care is delivered every day * A clear and transparent shared ownership model for those who want it How To Apply Contact Aaliyah on 07586 559680 or email aaliyah.ali@portmandental.co.uk for more information.
