This role sits within Women's Counselling and Therapy Service (WCTS), part of the Inspire North family - a values-led organisation committed to improving lives and creating lasting, positive change across our communities.

At WCTS, we work alongside women with compassion, respect, and understanding, offering safe spaces where experiences can be shared, heard, and supported.

At the Leeds Visible Project, we believe lived experience is not an add-on - it's essential. It shapes what we do, how we do it, and why it matters.

We're looking for someone who understands - deeply and compassionately - the power of being heard, supported, and connected. Someone who can gently hold space for others, while helping to turn shared experiences into meaningful, lasting change across systems.

About the role

This is a role rooted in trust, relationship-building, and co-production.

You'll work alongside members of our Visible Leadership Reference Group - adults with lived experience of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) who actively guide and influence our work. You'll support their continued involvement and help create new opportunities for others to safely share their voice.

You'll also bring creativity and care to how we amplify lived experience, including helping to grow our social media presence in ways that feel authentic and empowering.

About the Leeds Visible Project

Visible is an award-winning, city-wide partnership working to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for adults who've experienced CSA.

We're proud to sit at the heart of trauma-informed change in Leeds - working with healthcare, communities, and systems to do things differently. Lived experience is central to everything we do. It's how we learn, challenge, and evolve.

  • Supporting and nurturing the ongoing work of the Visible Leadership Reference Group
  • Creating and facilitating new lived experience opportunities
  • Helping ensure lived experience continues to shape decision-making and practice
  • Collaborating on ways to grow and share lived experience voices online
