Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (Teesside)

Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexible work in secondary education? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools throughout Teesside.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience, maintain work-life balance, or transition into long-term roles.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (subject specialism welcomed but not essential for general cover)
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs
  • Opportunities available for both daily supply and long-term placements

What We Offer:

  • Flexible working to suit your availability
  • Competitive daily rates
  • Opportunities to secure long-term and permanent roles
  • Supportive schools and welcoming departments
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A proactive and positive approach
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Whether you’re looking for regular work or occasional days in the classroom, we have a variety of opportunities to suit you.

Apply today to join a network of schools across County Durham and take the next step in your teaching journey.
