Job description
Learning Support Practitioner (Level 3) Permanent position starting September 2026. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher to deliver a challenging and innovative curriculum, working with resources to achieve high standards for all children. Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers, and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. Collaborate with the team to ensure pupils receive the support they need and contribute to raising standards across the school. Working Hours and Salary * 32.5 hours per week (Standard Term Time + 5 Training Days) * Grade: Band D, SCP 9-17 – salary £27,254–£31,022 pro‑rata (£14.13–£16.08 per hour); actual £21,361–£24,419 per annum Location * Albert Pritchard Infant School – Crew Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands, WS10 9QG * Wood Green Junior Federated Schools – Hobs Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands, WS10 9BW Contract Permanent Qualifications & Attributes Team player with strong interpersonal skills, trustworthy, reliable, punctual and enthusiastic about working with children.
