This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people and supporting them to achieve independence, stability, and their personal goals. Working within a supported accommodation setting, you will build positive and trusting relationships with young people, providing tailored support that helps them develop confidence, life skills, and the tools needed to move towards independent living. Work alongside individuals to understand their aspirations, strengths, goals, and support needs. Provide tailored one-to-one support through effective support planning and regular reviews. Support residents to understand tenancy/licence agreements, responsibilities, and expectations. Monitor tenancy sustainment, support rent account management, and help reduce risks of tenancy breakdown. Work with housing partners and external agencies to support successful move-on into independent accommodation. Engagement & Community Building: Create a positive community atmosphere where young people feel valued, respected, and included. Challenge anti-social, discriminatory, or harmful behaviours appropriately to maintain a safe environment. Partnership Working & Safeguarding: Work collaboratively with colleagues, housing providers, local authorities, and external support agencies. Represent the service professionally at meetings, referrals, and partnership discussions. Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures to protect young people and vulnerable adults. Maintain accurate records, support plans, risk assessments, and case notes in line with confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
