Job description
IT Technician - Outstanding Ofsted School - Milton Keynes Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale IT Technician An Outstanding Ofsted School in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled IT Technician to join its dedicated technical support team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern educational environment where technology plays a central role in teaching, learning and school operations. The successful candidate will provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring that all ICT systems operate effectively and efficiently. You will support a wide range of technologies including computers, laptops, interactive displays, printers, audiovisual equipment and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining user accounts, supporting classroom technology, installing equipment and assisting with the rollout of new technologies across the school. You will also contribute to IT projects and support the school's ongoing digital development strategy. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to technical support. The school is seeking an individual who is passionate about technology and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
