At Nudge Education, we support children and young people who are disengaged from education through tailored mentoring and interventions that help them reconnect, rebuild confidence, and thrive. About the Role We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs. This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. You will * Deliver tailored intervention sessions * Build positive and consistent relationships with young people * Monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns * Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records * Work collaboratively with families, professionals and regional teams Who We’re Looking For You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services or other people-focused backgrounds. We value empathy, resilience, creativity and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people. Essential Requirements * Minimum 2 years relevant experience * Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle * Right to work in the UK * Availability for at least 3 weekdays during daytime hours * Knowledge of ASD, ADHD and Anxiety * Knowledge of communication aids Desirable * Teaching or therapeutic qualification * Safeguarding or de‑escalation training * Good communication skills Practicalities * Flexible opportunities based on location and student match * £16–£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses * Monday–Friday daytime availability required * Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people Equality & Inclusion We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
