Job description
Data Officer - Independent Secondary School - Bath Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale Data Officer An Independent Secondary School in Bath is seeking a highly organised and analytical Data Officer to join its experienced support staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in supporting student achievement and school improvement through the effective management and analysis of data. The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining accurate student, assessment and examination data across the school. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and pastoral teams, you will ensure that data systems are efficient, reliable and provide meaningful information that supports decision-making at all levels. Responsibilities will include managing the school's Management Information System, producing progress and attainment reports, supporting assessment cycles, maintaining examination records and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements. You will also assist with census returns and provide training and support to staff using school data systems. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse information accurately. The school is seeking someone who can manage multiple priorities, work independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
