This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026, suitable for either an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT). Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate). Foster a passion for physical and human geography, encouraging students to think critically about global issues and the environment. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students in line with exam board specifications. Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports the learning and well-being of all pupils. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and potential field trips. Requirements Qualifications: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS, along with a degree in Geography or a closely related discipline. Experience: A proven track record of teaching Geography within a UK secondary school environment (including successful PGCE placements). Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
