Sociology Teacher - Outstanding Girls' School - Kingston Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Sociology Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level Sociology (KS4/5) • Kingston • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time Sociology Teacher Sociology Teacher You would be working in a highly successful Social Sciences department teaching Sociology across KS4 and KS5. The department has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and delivers a stimulating curriculum that encourages students to think critically about society, culture and social change. Students are enthusiastic about Sociology and enjoy exploring topics such as education, crime and deviance, families and households, culture and identity and social inequalities. Lessons are designed to develop analytical thinking, evaluation skills and academic writing. The department has a strong track record of excellent outcomes and teachers work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and independent thought. Staff are encouraged to contribute to enrichment opportunities, intervention programmes and wider school activities. The School provides a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to develop professionally and contribute positively to wider school life. You will benefit from outstanding CPD provision, a successful ECT programme and opportunities for career progression.
