Join Our Team as a Bank Nursery Practitioner! Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Granta Park, we’re looking for a Bank Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Qualifications A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable for this role. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Compensation Pay: £12.71 - £14.94 per Hour + accrued holiday pay. Working Hours Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract – gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs. Location The Old Station Nursery Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridgeshire, CB21 6GP About Our Nursery The Old Station Nursery Granta Park is a premium nursery offering four extra learning enhancements for our children: Organic growing, Cookery and Language lessons; all delivered in a Montessori inspired way which encourages practical learning at each child’s unique pace. The nursery is located in Granta Park, only 5 minutes from the M11/A505 junction, with quick access to central Cambridge and ample parking. It is a truly unique setting with an onsite Gym and Restaurant that our team benefit from a 50% discount as well as beautiful walks to take on your lunch break. What Your Role Involves * Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. * Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. * Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. * Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. * Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
