An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our growing Asset Valuation team. The team delivers valuation and consultancy services across a broad range of commercial, operational and public sector assets, supporting a well established portfolio of recurring client instructions and framework appointments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of valuation assignments for financial reporting, loan security, acquisition, disposal and asset management purposes. Working closely with senior colleagues, they will manage complex portfolio valuation projects, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the service line. This role goes beyond traditional valuation work and will suit an individual with strong analytical and technological capabilities.

Main tasks:
Valuation Delivery
- Undertake valuations for financial reporting, loan security, acquisition, disposal and strategic asset
- management purposes in accordance with RICS Valuation Standards.
- Carry out inspections, measurement surveys, comparable analysis, planning and statutory investigations and lease analysis.
- Prepare valuation models, cashflows and development appraisals across a wide range of commercial and operational property sectors.
- Support the delivery of large-scale portfolio valuation instructions, particularly for public sector and institutional clients.
Analytics and Technology
- Develop and maintain valuation models, portfolio analysis tools and data-driven reporting systems.
- Support the organisation, structuring and management of valuation datasets and digital records across major instructions.
- Assist in improving valuation workflows, reporting consistency and operational efficiency through the use of technology, automation and AI-enabled tools.
- Use advanced Excel, financial modelling and analytical techniques to support valuation reporting and portfolio analysis.
- Contribute to the development of scalable internal systems, templates and best practice methodologies.
Clients & Commercial Development
- Build strong working relationships with clients, professional advisors and internal teams across different offices.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for business development and cross-divisional collaboration.
- Support financial management, project delivery and client reporting across instructions.
Team & Leadership
- Support and mentor team members in valuation, analytical and reporting processes.
- Share technical knowledge across the team, particularly in relation to Excel modelling, data analysis and emerging technologies.
- Contribute positively to team culture, collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
What will it take to be successful?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is MRICS qualified or working towards qualification, ideally with RICS Registered Valuer status (or progressing towards it). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills, alongside practical experience in undertaking commercial and/or operational valuations. They will be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple instructions and meet competing deadlines effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, enabling clear reporting and confident interaction with clients and colleagues. Travel will be required in this role and a driving licence is essential.
