About the Role You will teach English across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in both English Language and English Literature. Students will study a broad range of texts including prose, poetry, drama, Shakespeare, modern literature, and non-fiction while developing analytical thinking, creative expression, extended writing, and critical interpretation skills. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations, supporting them in building confidence with essay writing, textual analysis, interpretation, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within a successful English department committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
