Our Team Our Finance team in Leeds is a large team made up of Management Accounts, Accounts Payable, Database and Billing, Credit Control and Client and Office Accounts. The team provides centralised support for all the UK offices and takes pride in providing a world class service to the firm's internal and external clients. Opportunity We are seeking a Tax Accountant to play a key role in the management of direct tax compliance across our UK LLP Group. The role will involve preparing UK LLP income tax computations and corporation tax returns, coordinating with finance teams across Europe and Australia, and working closely with the Group Tax Director and Group Financial Controller. You will also liaise with external advisors, support cross‑border tax compliance, and help develop efficient, robust tax processes within a complex international environment. Beyond compliance, the role offers broad exposure to tax planning and advisory work. You will contribute to matters including international withholding taxes, transfer pricing, tax audits and the impact of UK and overseas legislative changes on the firm's global structure. The position will involve researching tax legislation, advising on emerging tax risks, supporting new market entry and partnering with stakeholders across finance and the business to deliver pragmatic, commercial tax solutions. The role also covers indirect tax and employer compliance, including preparation of UK VAT returns under Making Tax Digital, PAYE Settlement Agreements and support for payroll‑related tax matters.
