The Opportunity A high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join its successful team this September. You will play an active role in shaping learning experiences, raising attainment, and contributing to a vibrant and ambitious curriculum. Key Responsibilities Teach Drama across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons Inspire curiosity about the world and global issues Develop students’ analytical, literacy, and exam skills Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department Support wider school life and extracurricular activities The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a teacher who: Has a genuine passion for Drama and education Holds a degree in Drama or a related subject Has QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Drama (KS5 desirable) Is an engaging and reflective classroom practitioner Builds strong relationships with students and staff Is committed to high standards and ongoing development Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
