The Science department is exceptionally well resourced with laboratories across the main campus including a specialist Chemistry laboratory. The department is supported by a team of experienced technicians ensuring strong practical delivery and high quality learning experiences.
At Key Stage 3 students follow an adapted and extended Activate Science curriculum. At GCSE students study AQA Separate Sciences with Biology Chemistry and Physics taught as distinct subjects from Year 10. At A Level Biology follows the OCR specification and is a popular and growing subject within the Sixth Form.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Science education and committed to delivering high quality teaching that inspires curiosity supports progress and drives strong academic outcomes.
