The Role

As a RE Teacher you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3KS5 helping students develop a deep understanding of both physical and human History.

You will play an active role in shaping learning experiences raising attainment and contributing to a vibrant and ambitious curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 4 and 5

• Plan and deliver high-quality differentiated lessons

• Inspire curiosity about the world and global issues

• Develop students analytical literacy and exam skills

• Assess monitor and track student progress effectively

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment

• Create a positive inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department

• Support wider school life and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has a genuine passion for History and education

• Holds a degree in History or a related subject

• Has QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 History (KS5 desirable)

• Is an engaging and reflective classroom practitioner

• Builds strong relationships with students and staff

• Is committed to high standards and ongoing development
