An established and successful secondary academy in Manchester is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Psychology for a permanent position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Social Sciences department and teach Psychology at Key Stage 5 in a school that values academic rigor deep research inquiry and strong relationships with students.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and conceptually rich lessons that help students build confidence statistical evaluation skills essay architecture and a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour cognitive neuroscience and psychological research methodologies. The school has a strong commitment to academic excellence and encourages staff to contribute to student forums and wider enrichment opportunities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized post-16 teaching qualification
A degree in Psychology or a highly related scientific discipline
Experience teaching Psychology in a UK secondary school or sixth form college setting up to A-Level
Strong classroom management skills
