KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS Curriculum Design & Instruction: Plan, resource, and execute highly structured, evidence-based mathematics lessons that challenge pupils across all academic profiles and learning requirements. Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 classes systematically through the demands of terminal GCSE mathematics specifications, implementing retrieval practices and exam-board strategies to maximise progress outcomes. Progress Diagnostics: Run regular formative and summative assessment routines, utilising pupil tracking data to diagnose learning misconceptions and design sharp, targeted intervention sessions. Numeracy Drive: Assist the broader department in implementing cross-curricular numeracy strategies, fostering mathematical confidence and mathematical application across all subjects. Pastoral Responsibilities: Undertake full form tutor duties, managing morning registration, tracking pupil attendance, and delivering the school's structured personal and social development programmes.
