Job description
Bar Manager – Brighton i360 Big venue. Big energy. Brighton seafront. Brighton i360 is not your average hospitality site - and this is not your average Bar Manager role. Right on Brighton’s seafront, i360 brings together multiple bars, events, private hires and visitor experiences in one iconic beachfront destination. From busy daytime trade and sunset cocktails to high-energy weekends and packed summer nights, this is a venue that thrives on atmosphere, pace and unforgettable guest experiences. We’re looking for a hands‑on, high‑energy Bar Manager to oversee the bar operation, lead the team and help deliver one of Brighton’s most exciting hospitality experiences. The Role As Bar Manager, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day running of multiple bar operations across the venue, leading the team through busy services while ensuring exceptional drinks, service and guest experience at all times. You’ll be responsible for: * Overseeing daily bar operations and confidently running busy shifts * Leading, developing and motivating the bar team * Ensuring cocktail quality, spec knowledge and service standards are consistently high * Supporting stock control, ordering and labour management * Driving sales, profitability and guest experience * Creating a positive, energetic and high‑performing team culture * Supporting events, seasonal trading peaks and high‑volume services * Maintaining licensing, compliance and health & safety standards * Acting as a role model for bartenders, bar backs and floor teams About You You’ll already have experience working in busy, high‑volume bars and be confident leading teams in fast‑paced environments. You might currently be a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or Senior Bartender ready to step into a bigger, more dynamic venue. You’ll bring * Experience in a senior bar or leadership role * Strong cocktail and drinks knowledge * Confidence managing busy services and high‑volume trade * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills * Experience supporting rotas, labour control and stock management * Knowledge of licensing, risk assessments and health & safety * A hands‑on leadership style with great floor presence * Energy, personality and the ability to stay calm under pressure Most importantly, you’ll be the kind of manager who isn’t afraid to jump behind the bar, support the team and lead from the front when the venue is at full pace.
