\nAre you a commercially minded Finance Director looking for your next interim challenge?\n
\nWe are partnering with a well-established and growing business in Keighley to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Director. This is a key leadership role, providing strategic financial guidance whilst ensuring robust financial control and operational excellence during a period of change and growth.\n
\nWorking closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing clear financial insight, driving performance, and supporting key business decisions.\n
Key Responsibilities\n

  • Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
    • \n
  • Deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections
    • \n
  • Provide strategic financial support to the board and senior leadership team
    • \n
  • Drive business performance through insightful financial analysis and commercial recommendations
    • \n
  • Review and strengthen financial controls, processes, and governance
    • \n
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
    • \n
  • Oversee year-end accounts, audit processes, and statutory compliance
    • \n
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management
    • \n
  • Support business improvement projects, change initiatives, and finance transformation activities
    • \n
  • Develop and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability
    • \n
  • Act as a key stakeholder with external advisors, auditors, banks, and investors where required
    • \n
About You\n
\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
    • \n
  • Proven experience operating at Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Senior Financial Controller level
    • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decisions
    • \n
  • Experience leading finance teams within a fast-paced business environment
    • \n
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities
    • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
    • \n
  • Available to commence an interim assignment at short notice or within a reasonable timeframe
    • \n
