Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for female support workers to work alongside our client with complex needs in Cardiff, Wales.

Pay:
Days - £15.92per hour weekdays, £16.72 per hour weekends.
Nights - Sleeping night shift hourly rate, plus additional waking hourly rate for beginning of shift - £16.72 per hour weekdays, £17.51 per hour weekends.

Hours: Full/part time hours available. Days - 7am-7pm, sleeping nights - 7pm-7am - 7 days per week.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting a young adult (female) who has complex needs including cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, PEG feeding and behaviours that challenge. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
  • Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and their family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring condition
  • Support with daily/nightly routines
  • Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administer medication and monitor health
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
