Job description

Description

A glimpse into the role: Senior PM role in an evolving AI product environment, with around 40% of the role focused on delivery, execution and operational coordination today. You’ll work side-by-side with engineers, navigate ambiguity, and drive delivery as much as direction - turning ideas into shipped products in a fast-moving, build-first environment.

---

About Spotted Zebra

At Spotted Zebra, we're building something we genuinely believe in: an AI-native end-to-end hiring platform that helps the world's leading organisations find the right people, faster and fairer than ever before. In short, we're making hiring something everyone loves again - both talent teams and candidates alike.

We're a multi-award-winning Series A company giving talent leaders the solution they've always needed. Skills science native. AI-amplified. Built by people who've lived and breathed TA and knew there had to be a better way.

What we do

Spotted Zebra brings Interview Intelligence, Skills Assessments, and AI Interview Agent together in one powerful platform, designed for intelligence and action. One powerful agent and assistant: Spot. Working the way talent teams need it to, always with humans in control.

The result is talent teams get the insight to predict who will succeed, the speed to move before competitors, the governance to defend every hiring decision, and the capacity to focus on the human moments that matter most.

But our product is only part of the story. Spotted Zebra isn’t just building an AI-native product; we’re building an AI-native company. AI is changing how we build, sell, support customers and make decisions. We use it to move faster, stay closer to customers, reduce unnecessary processes, and give talented people more leverage in their roles.

That means joining Spotted Zebra isn’t just a chance to work on the future of hiring. It’s a chance to help shape what the future of work looks like inside a scaling company: compact, ambitious teams using AI to collaborate better, make decisions quickly, and deliver meaningful impact at speed.

The FTSE100 and Fortune500 companies trusting us include British Airways, NIQ, Domino's, Lidl, Merlin Entertainments, AWE, United Utilities, and Paramount. We've been named Personnel Today's Talent Acquisition Supplier of the Year 2025, secured gold across multiple industry awards, and were recently named on the UK Top 100 Startups List.

But what we’re most proud of is the team. People join Spotted Zebra because the mission is real, the product is genuinely exciting, and the opportunity to shape the future of hiring is huge. What makes it special is the way we work: smart, committed people in compact teams where trust is high, decisions happen quickly, and everyone has the chance to make a visible impact.

If that sounds like the kind of place you want to do your best work - read on.

Our Dazzle (That's Our Team!) 🦓

Fun fact: A group of zebras is called a dazzle – and ours truly is dazzling!

We create a culture in which our team thrives and gallops ahead.

As we roam free and empower our dazzle, we gallop ahead on the journey to achieving our goals. We understand this journey will pose challenges along the way, yet we brighten the trail with our positive mindset and encouragement of others. The dazzle continuously moves, gaining knowledge and skills so that we can graze new grounds.

What you'll be doing

You’ll take ownership of our next-generation AI recruitment product, crafted to solve one of the biggest recruitment challenges whilst ensuring every candidate has a fair and positive experience. Working closely with our AI/ML and Occupational Psychologist teams, you’ll shape how hiring teams understand talent and make their most important decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own a key product area, working closely with the Head of Product to balance strategic direction with effective day-to-day execution
  • Develop a strong understanding of user needs through a combination of qualitative research, stakeholder collaboration, and data analysis
  • Drive product delivery from discovery through to launch, ensuring initiatives move forward efficiently and blockers are proactively resolved
  • Work closely with Engineering and Commercial to translate user, business, and operational needs into clear, deliverable requirements
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing new functionality, experience improvements, technical constraints, and platform enhancements
  • Collaborate proactively across Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, and commercial teams to align priorities and drive delivery
  • Make pragmatic product decisions quickly, balancing user value, technical feasibility, business priorities, and delivery pace
  • Stay close to implementation details and support teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, not just at the planning stage
  • Identify clear success metrics and use data to evaluate product performance and inform prioritisation
  • Contribute to product direction and continuous improvement within a complex and evolving SaaS environment
  • Leverage AI to accelerate discovery and delivery, enabling your team to work efficiently and deliver impact quickly
  • Ensure teams have clear objectives, visibility of priorities, and alignment on how work contributes to broader company goals

Requirements

Must-Haves ✅

  • Proven experience managing complex web-based SaaS products in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
  • Excellent prioritisation skills, balancing user needs, commercial priorities, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints
  • Strong execution and delivery skills, with experience shipping impactful products at pace
  • Comfortable operating hands-on within delivery-focused product roles, not solely strategic product leadership positions
  • Strong technical fluency and confidence working closely with engineering teams; an engineering background or product-engineering mindset is highly valued
  • Ability to gather, refine, and communicate clear product requirements across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working within ambiguity, evolving priorities, and complex or legacy product environments
  • Strong product judgement and critical thinking skills, with confidence to challenge assumptions and make pragmatic decisions
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers and designers in lean, cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and highly collaborative, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, using quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions and prioritisation
  • Comfortable creating wireframes, user flows, and lightweight UX concepts where needed
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows to improve product discovery, delivery, or team efficiency
  • Understanding of AI fundamentals and responsible AI product development principles
  • Adaptable, curious, and comfortable moving between strategic thinking and detailed execution work
  • Experience working with agile product development methodologies in remote or distributed teams

Nice-to-Haves 🌟

  • Experience working within HR Tech or adjacent SaaS domains
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms, recruitment technology, or people operations tooling
  • Experience using AI-assisted product development or prototyping tools such as Claude, Lovable, Cursor, or similar
  • Previous experience working within complex or legacy product ecosystems
