Job description

A World-Changing Company at Lifebit

At Lifebit, we're driven by the mission to make complex data analysis simpler and more accessible. We empower key institutions worldwide to revolutionize their data utilization and technology integration. Lifebit is powering the world’s federated data platforms for population-scale health and life sciences. Our Federated AI Platform is trusted across national health systems, global pharma, and research biobanks to unlock sensitive biomedical and real-world data securely, compliantly, and at scale.

As we scale through our Series B growth phase, we are expanding our product organization to meet the demands of a global market. Join us if you're inspired to tackle meaningful challenges and want to lead the next generation of health technology and cloud-based genomic solutions.

The Role

We are looking for a high-performing Product Manager to join our growing team and drive the evolution of our platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and world-class software, ensuring our federated solutions solve the most pressing challenges for clinicians and researchers.

Lifebit specializes in managing the world’s most sensitive genomics data. We need a PM who thrives in an Agile environment, possesses a deep technical intuition, and can translate high-level business goals into a concrete, impactful product roadmap.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • AI-Powered Platform Development: Lead the design and delivery of AI capabilities within a chat-based product interface, building agentic solutions that leverage tools, skills, agents, and diverse data sources to create a comprehensive agentic platform for users and researchers.

  • Data Architecture & Integration: Drive the strategy for data modeling, transformation, and standardization across the platform. Own the data ingestion pipeline and ensure seamless connectivity that makes data AI-ready and optimized for advanced analytics.

  • Agile Product Leadership: Drive the full product lifecycle within an Agile framework, leading cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality features in continuous cycles.

  • Strategic Roadmapping: Own and plan your product area’s roadmap, moving beyond feature lists to focus on outcome-based goals that align with Series B scaling targets.

  • User Analytics & Design: Lead the integration of advanced user analytics and partner with Design and User Research teams to create intuitive interfaces for complex scientific workflows.

  • Stakeholder & KPI Management: Measure, track, and report on product KPIs to internal and external stakeholders, providing data-driven rationale for product pivots and investments.

  • Infrastructure & Tools: Utilise Jira and Confluence as the "source of truth" for technical specifications, ensuring seamless communication across Engineering and Product teams.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
Work closely with Legal and Clinical teams to ensure all product features comply with UK-specific data residency requirements, GDPR, and international health data standards (ISO/IG).

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product management specifically within an Agile team.

  • AI Ownership: 2+ years of demonstrated work experience with agentic products.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience owning and executing complex product roadmaps from inception to launch.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of Jira and Confluence; ability to hold technical discussions with engineers regarding API architecture and data schemas.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong experience with design-thinking principles and utilizing user analytics to drive iteration.

  • Growth Mindset:
Experience working in a high-growth Series B startup environment, demonstrating the ability to build scalable processes while remaining adaptable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Biotech Acumen: Experience in genetics, medical sciences, or Bioinformatics is a significant plus, but a passion for the field is essential.

What We Offer

Lifebit is synonymous with a dynamic work culture that encourages both personal and professional growth. Our mission-driven organization is dedicated to making a significant impact in science and healthcare. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Compensation: £60,000 - £80,000 gross annually + performance-based bonus.

  • AI Upskilling: Use up to £10,000 and 10 dedicated days per year for qualified AI-related professional development (AI certification, LLM workshop, or AI bootcamp).

  • Professional Development & Wellbeing: An annual personal development budget of £1,000 for conferences, training, certifications and personal wellbeing.

  • Remote-First Culture: Work from anywhere in the UK with a home-office stipend. In accordance with 2026 UK employment reforms, we provide Day One access to paternity and unpaid parental leave.

  • Flexible Working: Receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and flexible hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Diverse Team: Join an international and diverse team passionate about transforming healthcare through data.

  • Deep Technology & Science: Get exposure to problems and applications in the cloud, data analysis, ML, life sciences, and big data fields.

Join us at Lifebit for a career that promises to be your next significant venture, dedicated to advancing the scientific and healthcare fields. Don't miss the chance to be part of our mission!

Life at Lifebit

Lifebit is dedicated to fostering an environment where employees can flourish, valuing individual strengths, skills, and passions. We prioritize health and well-being, offering comprehensive benefits and support. Our fully remote model is built on trust and asynchronous communication, utilizing virtual workshops and occasional off-sites to maximize creativity and innovation.

Lifebit is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. In compliance with the UK Employment Rights Act and Fair Work Agency guidelines, we ensure transparent pay structures and robust data privacy for all staff.

Compliance & Eligibility

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. This role is subject to a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check given the sensitive nature of the medical data platforms we manage.

Join us in reshaping the future of data analysis and technology integration.
