Opening soon in the stunning city of Stockholm, at Sticks’n’Sushi we serve high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of classic and creative sushi along with sticks from the grill. Attracting both families and trendsetters, amazing service in beautiful restaurants is driven by our amazing team - our Strange Fish.

We’re looking for you: a true craftsperson, passionate about creating things in the best way, to the very best they can be. You’ll have Head Chef experience in a busy kitchen with a strong knowledge of crafting excpetional sushi, with a calm spirit that tunes in and focusses, rising above that buzz. What you’ll be doing at Sticks ’n’ Sushi:

• Taking responsibility for all aspects of the operation in the kitchen from prep and food quality through to cleanliness, compliance and, of course, cost control
• Ensuring we create top-class sushi and the very best kushiyaki sticks
• Putting your passion and pride into ensuring a delicious plate and experience for every guest, every time
• Being part of a family that will help you flourish and become the best you can be
• Nurturing, coaching and developing other members of the kitchen team

What you’ll bring to us:

• Head Chef experience in a busy kitchen
• Excellent knife and sushi-making skills
• An eye for detail; always upholding the highest standards and ensuring every shift is in the very safest pair of hands
• A love of deepening your craft, with a respect for rituals and traditions but a curiousity to bring your own spark and ideas
• Team spirit, kindness & respect. We only swear at ourselves here, no-one else.
• Thinking “we” rather than “I”
• A desire to have fun as you work with your fellow chefs; togetherness is the word.
• A genuine commitment to making people happy, ensuring you have one of the happiest teams in the industry

We want you to grow with us so you can keep learning, developing your skills and challenging your responsibilities (and your healthy risk-taking!) Our training is structured to both help you shine and create memories, in your role and beyond. Induction & training can happen in the UK, Denmark or Germany and we will help fully with relocation to Stockholm.
