The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3KS5 helping students develop a deep understanding of both physical and human Computer Science.
You will play an active role in shaping learning experiences raising attainment and contributing to a vibrant and ambitious curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 4 and 5
Plan and deliver high-quality differentiated lessons
Inspire curiosity about the world and global issues
Develop students analytical literacy and exam skills
Assess monitor and track student progress effectively
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment
Create a positive inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department
Support wider school life and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has a genuine passion for Computer Science and education
Holds a degree in Computer Science or a related subject
Has QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science (KS5 desirable)
Is an engaging and reflective classroom practitioner
Builds strong relationships with students and staff
Is committed to high standards and ongoing development
