About the role


Do you have the proven ability to motivate and support a team within logistics environment Are you wanting to work for a company who pride themselves on their people customers and excellent standards. Here at Advanced Supply Chain Bradford we are looking to welcome a Team Manager on a permeant full-time basis working across our night shift working 10pm - 6:15am. In return youll receive a competitive salary of 36048 along with a structured development plan that includes training mentorship and clear opportunities for career growth within our organisation.
As our Team Manager you will report directly into our Operation Managers and will be helping to support them and the wider team by managing the Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives making sure they remain engaged organised and motivated. Our Team Manager will be driving and delivering on our expectations making sure your department are meeting agreed customer service level agreements to allow us to continue delivering exceptional services for our customers.
  • Understand and be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area
  • Ensure adherence to all H&S regulations reporting any incidents and near misses via the correct channel
  • Analyse data establish root cause and put in place correct measures escalating any issues to management team in a timely manner
  • Ensure your team have all equipment/training necessary to work productively supporting and sharing best practice to exceed targets and remain efficient
  • Full responsibility for performance management of team focusing on wellbeing absence and performance
  • Participate in department and site projects and drive continuous improvement

What we need from you


  • Experience of managing a team and providing ongoing coaching and guidance to them
  • Familiar with using and operating an in house Operating a warehouse management system
  • Understanding of operational working practice and safe systems of work Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles
  • A good knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse and distribution environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
