Hgv Mechanic

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified (or ‘time on job’ qualified) experienced HGV Mechanic that wants to take the next step in their career. The right candidate will be able to ‘own the role’ and work with a small team in the Cullompton area. Taking care of the fleet of Mercedes HGV fleet. You may need to work autonomously on occasions and to the highest standards ensuring full legislative compliance and adhere to company policies. You must have proven experience as a HGV Mechanic

3 years experience required. Class 1 licence essential

Monday - Friday

You will be working alongside other workshop colleagues.

Main Duties and Requirements :

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and repairs to HGV fleet and trailers
• MOT preparation and presenting for test
• Comply to SSOW and ensure highs standards of Health and Safety
• Have experience in Diagnostic systems / software
• Have a class 1 licence, Digi-card and up to date CPC
• Have excellent record keeping and organisational skills
• Be able to confidently work and communicate with the your colleagues
• Organise or complete out of hours recovery / repairs etc as necessary

This is an all-encompassing role that will require commitment and a flexible approach.
