Job description
Design Technology Teacher - Outstanding Mixed Secondary School - Surrey Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Design Technology Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level Design Technology (KS3/4/5) • Surrey • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time Design Technology Teacher Design Technology Teacher You would be working in a well-equipped and innovative Design Technology department teaching DT across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department benefits from excellent workshop facilities, CAD resources and specialist equipment that allow students to develop creativity, technical knowledge and practical skills. Students are enthusiastic about Design Technology and enjoy exploring resistant materials, product design and engineering concepts through engaging practical lessons. The curriculum is carefully planned to support creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking while preparing students for further education and careers within the creative and technical industries. The department works collaboratively to deliver high-quality teaching and ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to extracurricular activities, STEM projects and wider school enrichment opportunities. The School provides a supportive environment where every member of staff is encouraged to develop professionally and contribute positively to school life. You will benefit from excellent CPD provision, mentoring support for ECTs and opportunities for progression within the department and wider school community.
